A God Who Wants Us To Rely On Him

It's hard to always thank God in the midst of problems or struggles. I know that's something I have issues doing. People often say "If God is good, why does He allow bad things to happen?" Well, here's the thing- God always wants us to grow in Faith. He doesn't want us to follow Him blindly without really believing. Our God wants us to follow Him and to love Him by our own choice. He wants us to trust, so that when we do overcome out obstacles, we strengthen our will and belief and we become more attached to God...even if we aren't aware of it. Lent is a perfect time to re-commit to God and make ourselves think about our lives. It's a challenge, but keep trying. God bless!
